So if you ever find yourself in Kolkata, you should definitely head to the wholesale flower market under the iconic Howrah Bridge one morning, and simply feast your eyes on the myriad hues and breathe in the heady scent of the blossoms heaped in zillions, all around you.
The flower market at Malik Ghat is said to be the oldest and largest wholesale flower market in India. Over a century old, it also looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for that length of time.
