Connecting all foodies in India….
This is one recipe which lot of people have requested from me. Poori – a deep fried Indian bread – is a great delicacy in India, and it goes very well with Aalo (Potato) curry or Chole (Chickpeas) curry. Check out this “Potato curry and Poori” recipe.
I believe this is one of those very few food items which is not restricted to any particular part or region of India and is enjoyed everywhere from north to south and east to west.
There are different ways to prepare a Poori, and the preparation depends on the ingredients; however, I will be sharing its most basic recipe.
1) Two small bowls of Wheat flour
2) One tea spoon of Carom seeds (Ajwain) – This is an important ingredient because it helps in the digestion and also brings nice flavor.
3) Salt – 1/5 a tea spoon
