Spring is in the air, and with daylight saving this past weekend we are all feeling that warm temperatures are coming our way here in Chicago. While I love springing forward I do miss that one extra hour of sleep that I lose. So if you are feeling a little more sluggish than usual I recommend you try my “Spring into Action Smoothie.”
Spring into Action Smoothie
2 tablespoons of almond butter
1 whole kiwi
½ cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Mix all ingredients together in a blender, (I use the magic bullet) and enjoy. I love to garnish with a little bit of granola.
