Healthy Banana Bread…

I am currently at the start of a serious health kick. This unfortunately means giving up chocolate, cake, biscuits, sweets, basically all the things I love!! I’m just over a week in and I am seriously struggling!! I have constant cravings for something sweet, so I am hoping this yummy yet healthy and low fat banana bread might ease my pain!! The sticky toffee vibes that come from the soaked dates  are subtle but add something extra special to your everyday banana bread. Enjoy…

Ingredients…

3 bananas, mashed
75g brown sugar
1 egg & 1 egg white, beaten
200g s.r flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 heaped tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla extract
6-8 dates, chopped and soaked in hot water

Method…

1. Preheat your oven to 170 degrees and grease and line a loaf tin
